I've been flooded with family staying at my house and my gym getting turned into a storage facility, but my diet is still there and I am playing hours of basketball a day, everyday.

There was a death in my family last week which forced me to travel to the Bay Area for a week. For this reason my training was compromised.

Woke up at 9:00 am

9:15 am - Ate 2 cups whole grain cereal with 1 cup 2% milk.

Woke up at 8:00 am

8:15 am - Ate 2 cups of some multi grain cereal that tasted like cardboard with 1 cup milk.

9:00 am - 12:30 pm - Played pickup basketball games at the park.

1:00 pm - Drank 1 fruit smoothie. Took 1 multi-vitamin.

Woke up at 7:30 am

8:00 am - Ate 1 cup steamed rice and 2 eggs sunny side up. Light salt and pepper.

8:30 - 11:00 am - Shot some hoops at the park. No game, just shooting around.

11:30 am - Ate 2 cups of pasta with light homemade spaghetti sauce.

3:15 - 4:00 pm - Had a heavy weight workout focusing on the chest and triceps.

4:15 pm - Ate 6 oz fish baked.

Ive been sick lately. I think I caught that flu that has been going around. Anyways, because of that I haven't pushed myself to work out to the extreme that I had been. I thought it would be best to let my body and immune system rest so that I can continue training at my fullest.

Also because of this I have been forced to withdraw from the 5k I was planning on running in 5 days. I still feel that I am able to run the full thing, but I would not be as competitive as I wanted to be. I still intend on running a 5k in the very near future.

I will being full training tomorrow once again.

11:00 am - Ate 1 power bar. Drank 8oz cranberry juice.

11:45 am - 1:30 pm - Played basketball.

2:00 pm - Ate an 8 inch roast beef and turkey sub with light mayo.
